Marrakech is a crowded city with lots of things to do and sights to see for a tourist who had never visited the place before. The city can’t be missed due to its rich smells, colors and noises and seeing it is a lifetime experiences that will create a special memory.

The animated square in Djemma el-Fna

The square was included on the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites and there are plenty of reasons to experience it. In the day time, there are snake trainers, vendors and acrobats which will ask money if they are photographed or filmed, but the place really comes to life after dark. Then, chefs pop-up with their grills and transform the square into a burning steak with lots of kebabs. Belly dancers, story-tellers and astrologists are all part of the city and one may even see how a dentist works in an open square.

Ali ben Youssef Medersa

Built in 14th century, the area features stunning architecture, with its wooden carved balconies which shed intricate shadows, Carrara marble buildings and details. The interesting writing art of Marrackech can be admired on the walls in Ali ben Youssef Medersa.

The place is also famous for being the education center of Marrakech for hundreds of years, until the European West made its way into Morocco.

JardinMajorelle

Don’t miss the beautiful garden opened for public view by Yves Saint Laurent when in Marrakech. Hundreds of cactus plants andnumerous other flora are gathered from all the 5 continents in this garden. The bright, electric blue décor painted by Majorelle blends in perfectly with the plants, so the place is perfect for enjoying a professional photo-shoot.

Gambling in Marrakech

After all these exotic places and the luxury garden Majorelle one can make a trip to the so-called-Arabian-SPA hammam or head toward another luxurious place and have fun gambling. The biggest gambling place is Le Grand Casino La Mamounia, which offers many fun games like blackjack, card games, roulette and 200 slot machines. Le Casino de Marrakech, located in EsSaadi Gardens & Resort Hotel has a rather smaller offer as there are 92 slot machines to enjoy and a wide variety of roulette, blackjack and card games.

Online Poker Rooms

As you can see the gambling opportunities are limited in Marrakech. So, in case you are a gambling passionate or you simply want to relax during the scorching noon time, you can give Fulltiltpoker a try. You can exercise your passion, meet interesting challenges, join players from all over the world and why not try your luck in this inspiring and exotic city.

Fondouks and Souks

If Fes is the place where one can see the ancient way of processing animal skin, Marrakech is the place to see how leather and other raw materials come to life in the talented hands of craftsmen. From mosaics to shoes and bags, medieval courtyard workshops and souks (market) streets present the tourist with lots of products made in a traditional way.
