Adventurer’s Guide to Las Vegas

December 8, 2016 by admin

Las_Vegas,_Nevada,_USA_(5951714693)

Since the name of the city came from the Mexican word “vegas” used for the meadows supported by the artesian wells right in the middle of Mojave Desert on the actual location of Las Vegas, Las Vegas holidays may be an oasis for visitors’ thirst of relaxation and entertainment. The main contribution of nature was the abundant sun which makes for a hot weather for about 300 days per year, the rest of the work was done by people, including the abundant and iconic neon light at night.

Being the self entitled “world’s capital of entertainment”, it’s easy to spend time seeing some of the attractions, therefore it is very hard to highlight particular hot spots. The most recommended method to become familiar with the city is to get a tour and to admire the fancy hotels like Bellagio, Wynn, Aria and Hard Rock, restaurants, shopping malls, museums and art galleries, and of course the casinos on the so called Las Vegas Strip which is not an actual part of the city. This way you may map the area and decide what particular attractions are of interest to you.

Leisure at day

Although the city is located in the middle of the desert, its pools are legendary and a day without a relaxing bath after or before a night party is almost unimaginable.

And if you want more than a simple bath, than you’ve got spa experiences available in all possible forms, opulent or exotic, bringing the traditions of the Orient in the heart of the United States.

Shopping

Due to the advantageous tax system applicable, Las Vegas is a great place to shop for your favourite brands in trendy places like Crystals at City Centre, The Forum Shops at Caesars, The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Palazzo, The Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. Other great places for shopping include hotels which host very interesting shops and Las Vegas Premium Outlets.

Leisure at night

Most probably if you come to Vegas then you’re here to party, so let the party begin! Here you can display your most extravagant outfits as nobody would feel offended. For more entertainment choose an open air venue or a location with a higher elevation over the city.

And if the adrenaline of the party is not enough, then you probably need the thrill of the casinos. There’s not a simple gambling experience you can have elsewhere in the world, it is the best of the best: the luxurious spaces, the cocktail girls and the music are perfect. And the refinement took some steps forward to a more customized experience: you can gamble in the pool or in your room. Let the dice fall!

Outdoors

Wonderful adventures in the open air await you around Vegas. The tourists can ride horses in the desert like the real cowboys in the westerns, or can head to Red Rock Canyon where you can climb the strangely shaped rocks and look for the desert tortoises.

If you simply don’t want to leave the city, then you can play golf on some of the finest courses enjoyed by the most famous players, like Shadow Creek, The Wynn and a lot more others. The Golf Centre may take care of your training so as to put you in the best shape.
